When we last heard of Alexis Bledels’ (Rory on Gilmore Girls) whereabouts, she was filming “The Conspirator” in Savannah, Georgia much to the excitement of the locals. However, this past weekend, Alexis traded in her period piece dresses for a much chic-er look as she made her way to New York City for several very fun events. In the below photo, she’s at the Alice and Olivia pop-up store opening at fancy boutique SCOOP.
That same night, she went to the WIRED pop-up party, where Jared Eng (aka “Just Jared”) tweeted she thought the music Moby was spinning was “too aggressive“. If that wasn’t enough, on that same night Alexis was photographed on the red carpet at the 25th anniversary of Indochine. Finally, lest you think she took a break, Alexis was spotted heading into the next night’s SNL taping with Gilmore Girls co-star Krysten Ritter!
Here’s Glenn Beck’s much talked about speech he gave over the weekend. He finally reveals his “master plan” to begin moving the country forward in a positive direction.
Shout out to The Right Scoop for putting these clips together.

In light of MSNBC’s recent discussion over the “monochromatic” appearance of Sarah Palin fans, Michelle noticed something strange about that network — they’re really, really, really, white.
Somebody needs to give these chuckleheads a lesson in diversity. Where in the hell is Rev. Sharpton when you need him?
Why is MSNBC trying to keep minorities down?
When are these white devils going to stop talking diversity and start stepping down and letting a minority take their place?
I cannot even imagine getting to the International Space Station (ISS), let alone living on it for six months at a time! Well Maksim Suraev is living on the ISS and has begun to blog about his unique experiences upon the station, what an interesting position to be in and what amazing things to blog about and not only the view from the station but the challenges of working in a zero gravity environment, exercising, repairing or modifying components, and conducting experiments.
Here is a sample from his blog:
A reader asked me: “How good is space for tranquility? For peace?”Tranquility here comes only when you sleep in your cabin, when there is no work to do.
